APPLICATION ADVICE

When it comes to flashing glitters, the formula does the talking. Full coverage sets are perfect for party season, but are not the only option for your clients. Discover different trending looks that you can achieve with our famous flashing glitters.

We’d always recommend two coats of our flashing glitter gels. Keep your layers thin to avoid bulkiness. This will enhance the coverage and make the sparkle shine.

OMBRÉ EFFECT

Once you’ve applied your chosen base colour or BIAB™, use a round or flat brush to apply the flashing pigment. Decant a little onto a palette and dip in your brush. Blend into the cured base to create an ombré effect.

Top tip! Apply thin, even layers of the reflective glitter gel to avoid a bulky finish.

ACCENT NAIL

Instead of a full set of flashing pigments, consider pairing your chosen flashing pigment with a complimentary gel colour. You can then paint the flashing pigment on a single accent nail to make the set pop.

NAIL ART

Flashing pigments can be used to create mesmerising nail art looks, perfect for festive season. From snowflakes to stars or hearts, level up your clients’ looks with a show stopping design, using a fine brush and your favourite flashing pigment.

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!

The best thing about flashing glitters is that they come to life under a camera flash. Here are our top tips to achieve the perfect shot.

  1. Avoid overhead lighting. This can cause uneven light or cast shadows on the nails. Instead, aim for diffused side lighting that enhances the sparkle without washing it our with glare.
  2. Try using video. Once you’ve got your perfect pics, switch to filming with flash and gently moving the hand under the light to witness the full flashing effect of the pigments.
